Explore lookouts, boardwalks and fly high through the Rainforest canopy with Jungle Surfing.

A 7.15am start today, will let you experience the Daintree Rainforest with almost no one else about.

A short drive north through scenic sugar cane country, your first stop will see you embarking on a one-hour wildlife cruise on the mighty Daintree River, spotting local endemic wildlife. Keep an eye out for the elusive Saltwater Estuarine Crocodile, rainforest frogs and birdlife and flying fruit bats.

Your cruise will finish in the World Heritage listed Wet Tropics, we venture deep into the heart of the Daintree Rainforest. First stop is a guided nature walk along a Rainforest board walk; Keep your eyes out for the Cassowary and the elusive Tree Kangaroo.

On the journey to Cape Tribulation, take some time to explore some of the untouched beaches along the coast.  Witness the Rainforest meeting the reef as you take in the incredible coastline.

Arriving at Cape Tribulation, it’s time to tackle Jungle Surfing; a 1.5-hour trip through the canopy of the rainforest. Your feet don’t touch the ground, rather you fly through the trees on a series of flying fox zip-lines, stopping at 6 tree platforms to take in spectacular bird’s eye views over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef.

For those not Jungle Surfing, enjoy exploring Cape Tribulations beaches and safe rainforest waterholes.

Next we head to lunch at a local restaurant, deep in the rainforest.

After Lunch, enjoy a refreshing swim in a safe rainforest river, or simply enjoy the relaxing surroundings. We then head south, stopping for a Bio-Dynamic Ice-cream for dessert.

A photo stop at the beautiful Alexandra Range Lookout is next; From here the Daintree River can be seen flowing out into the Coral Sea.

We then begin the journey back to your accommodation.

Your tour will conclude at your Port Douglas accommodation at approximately 4.30pm

Awesome day!

We went on the Daintree Adventure Day and it was an exceptional experience! It was a great variety of experiences and we enjoyed every one. Will was a fantastic tour leader and gave us such an appreciation for the area...an area he calls home and obviously loves! Our family of three was joined by another couple making it only 5 people on the tour. Very personal! We loved the lunch stop. It was a beautiful rainforest cafe in the most amazing location. Food was excellent. The ice cream stop was fun! Got to meet the lady who made our ice cream as will seems to know everyone! We were two adults and an 11 year old and all three of us loved the day!

Daintree and Jungle Surfing highlight of our trip

Awesome, Couldn't have asked for a better day out. Jason, our guide was great. His passion and knowledge of the area was infectious. A well organised tour with the little things (fruit, cold refreshing towels & cold bottles of water) making the day thoroughly enjoyable. We went Jungle Surfing, wandered through the Daintree and did some Crocodile spotting. Wouldn't want to do a Tour with anyone else.

Fantastic day trip-a must do.

We did the Daintree Adventure Day which as the highlight of our stay in Tropical North Queensland. From the moment our guide (Paul) picked us up at our motel at 7am the tour was on. He was a mine of information regarding the local area, flare and fauna, and all the animals. It was like having our own private tutor on our mini bus tour, fabulous. The zip lining in the rainforest was awesome, ziplining upside down screaming and laughing away. Then lunch and a dip in the water hole (for those who were keen,) an ice cream en route back to the Daintree River Crossing, and an hour's guided boat trip on the Daintree to spot crocodiles and snakes. Truly a fab day out, and it was nice to be on a mini bus and not be part of a much bigger day.
