Explore lookouts, boardwalks and fly high through the Rainforest canopy with Jungle Surfing.

A 7am start means we get to experience the Daintree Rainforest as it should be experienced, with almost no one else about. Crossing the Daintree Ferry we enter the Cape Tribulation section of the World Heritage listed Wet Tropics and deep into the heart of the Daintree Rainforest. First stop is the view over the Coral Sea from the fabulous Alexandra Range Lookout. Sightings of Cassowaries, Forest Dragons and even Buff Breasted Paradise Kingfishers are possible, as we explore one of the various rainforest boardwalks and beaches on the journey to Cape Tribulation.  Stand at the intersection of two World Heritage Areas; The Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. It’s now time to begin a unique Jungle Surfing experience through the canopy of this remnant rainforest, zipping along above the forest floor. Stand heart-to-heart with the world’s oldest rainforest on a fully-guided zip lining tour between six tree canopy platforms. OR for those not Jungle Surfing, spend 2 hours exploring the beaches and waterholes of Cape Tribulation with your guide. Lunch is next at Heritage Lodge restaurant with the choice of Grilled Barramundi (fish), Steak or vegetarian option; if time allows, enjoy a refreshing swim in Cooper Creek.  For dessert we head to Floravilla for a refreshing Bio-Dynamic fruit ice-cream (all included). Back to the Daintree River now for a 1-hour wildlife cruise; search for Crocodiles, Snakes and other wildlife as you learn more about this unique part of Australia. Head south through sugar can fields back to Port Douglas, return to your accommodation approx. 4.30pm, ready for your next adventure.
