Cape Tribulation Express

Travel north to visit Cape Tribulation in half a day

If you have a full day, we highly recommend our Daintree Adventure Day

Our Cape Tribulation Express Tour is ideal for those who are limited with time, or simply desire a half day tour option.

An early start at 7:15am means we miss the crowds and wake up with the forest!

After crossing the iconic Daintree Cable Car Ferry, enjoy photo opportunity at the Alexandra Range Lookout.  We then continue our journey to Cape Tribulation through World Heritage listed Rainforest.

Arriving at 9:00am, it’s time to enjoy one of the following 2 options*:
*groups can split up

Option 1

Jungle Surfing Canopy Tour $ 200 pp

The Jungle Surfing guides whisk the adventurous ones to the start location of their two-hour zip-line canopy experience.  Stand heart-to-heart with the world’s oldest rainforest on a fully-guided zip lining tour, between six tree canopy platforms.

*120kg max weight restrictions apply for Jungle Surfing

Option 2

Explore Cape Tribulation’s beaches and water holes $120 pp

Those who would like to keep two feet on the ground have the opportunity to spend two hours exploring the beaches, rainforest and boardwalks of Cape Tribulation. We have access to a secluded, safe swimming hole for a swim and to look for saw shell turtles and tropical fresh water fish that call the rainforest home.

*For those not Jungle Surfing

Fly high through the Rainforest canopy with Jungle Surfing, or explore Beaches and waterholes.

A 7am start means we get to experience the Daintree Rainforest as it should be experienced, with almost no one else about. Crossing the Daintree Ferry we enter the Cape Tribulation section of the World Heritage listed Wet Tropics and deep into the heart of the Daintree Rainforest. First stop is the view over the Coral Sea from the fabulous Alexandra Range Lookout.

Sightings of Cassowaries, Forest Dragons and even Buff Breasted Paradise Kingfishers are possible, as we explore one of the various rainforest boardwalks and beaches on the journey to Cape Tribulation.  Stand at the intersection of two World Heritage Areas; The Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.

It’s now time to begin a unique Jungle Surfing experience through the canopy of this remnant rainforest, zipping along above the forest floor. Stand heart-to-heart with the world’s oldest rainforest on a fully-guided zip lining tour between six tree canopy platforms.

OR for those not Jungle Surfing, spend 2 hours exploring the beaches and waterholes of Cape Tribulation with your guide.

Leave Cape Tribulation at 11:15am to begin your journey back to your accommodation.

Arriving in Port Douglas approx. 12:45pm
